Momentum Acts is an interdisciplinary theatre company, created by Dana Day and Naledi Withers in response to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on theatre.

The company is currently exploring dance and physical theatre: developing ways of physically responding to the textual analysis of Shakespeare’s works and looking to build new interactive performance experiences in unconventional spaces. Momentum Acts is also extending this practice into educational workshops that allow young audiences to engage with and make discoveries about Shakespeare’s text through new processes.

Our Cause

Our Cause

We make the often complicated work of Shakespeare more approachable, combining movement with his text to create new worlds to explore, allowing audiences to feel comfortable engaging with his plays.
