  • Students will discover the plot of a Shakespeare play and leave with treasures.

    Through movement, students will work through memorable moments from a play teaching them to express emotions and morals. They will gain confidence and collaborative skills through discussing and performing key plot points for each other.

  • Mischievous Puck will introduce your students to Shakespeare and bring them into the worlds of three of his plays.

    Our facilitator will guide them through key scenes with interactive narration and movement allowing them to explore new vocabulary and become an active part of well recognised literature.

  • Students will discover the plot of a Shakespeare play to learn a story from literary heritage.

    Working through key scenes and themes from a play will enable students to explore character feelings and motives. They will gain speaking and communication skills through discussion and performing for each other.

    Through a series of workshops students will have an introduction to the history of William Shakespeare and develop a character through movement and voice. They will explore choreography through group work, gain an understanding of the plot and themes of the play and build confidence in speech and performance.

  • Embodying the language of Shakespeare.

    Students will work through a toolkit of interactive exercises used by professional actors to help them break down and understand an example of Shakespearean text. This will give them the means to identify, embody and engage with the themes and imagery of Shakespearean texts they work on.

All the World: Play in a Week: 4 x Full Days

  • Students will be fully immersed in Shakespeare’s world and the world of theatre making.

    Through a series of workshops students will develop an understanding of the plot of your chosen play as well as how to break down Shakespearean language using punctuation, rhyme and metre. They will explore themes and motifs through physical and verbal exercises and build confident communication through group work.

    Physical theatre techniques will be used to explore motive, develop characterisation and build the setting of the play.

    Students will also gain experience of rehearsal processes and a performance for an invited audience.
